Boyd - Offense is Ready

The wait is over for red-shirt sophomore Tajh Boyd as he is just days from his first start for the Tigers.  Tuesday afternoon Tajh spoke with the media about the upcoming game and much more!

Tajh feels very comfortable in coach Morris’ new offense after just a few months.

“It feels like he has been here a few years already, even though he has only been here for a few months.  Things are coming along really well.  Everybody has a feel for the offense,” said Boyd.

Tajh is ready to play against a new defense after playing against the Tiger’s for months.

“We are tired of going against each other every day.  We are ready to go against a different opponent.  We are all excited.  We are really looking forward to it,” said Boyd.

How much more comfortable is Tajh this season?

“I feel like I have grown up a lot.  Honestly I didn’t have a lot of game experience from last year.  At the same time I feel like I have had enough preparation this spring and this fall.  We will see where we are as an offense this week,” said Boyd.

Tajh now feel comfortable as the leader of the offense and believes the Tigers are ready.

“That is something that comes with time and maturity.  I am blessed to be in a position like this where the guys respect what you do and know how hard you are working.  As a whole offensive unit I believe we are ready for this game.  We challenge each other every day and we are really excited about it,” said Boyd.

Watch Tajh discuss the game against Troy, the comfort level with the new offense and much more!
