Freshman Stephone Anthony had to wait a little bit to see the field Saturday but when he did he made an immediate impact.

“Yes sir, just sitting back waiting on the opportunity.  When you get your turn you just make the best of it,” said Anthony.

How did he enjoy his first game in Death Valley?

“Everything was great.  The crowd got everything going.  It was real intense and I was pumped up,” said Anthony.

How did Stephone rate his performance?

“Personally I feel like I have a lot of things to work on.  It wasn’t my best game so I have things to work on and I will get better,” said Anthony.

What would the true freshman like to improve on before Wofford?

“I probably could have played the run better, played with more technique,” said Anthony.

Will the first sack stick with Stepone?

“I’m not sure.  It was just the first game and that was enjoyable,” said Anthony.
