The long wait is finally over.  Clemson plays Wofford in Death Valley Saturday as they look for win number two. 

Each week TCI will take a look at how the matchup breaks down by the numbers. 

What do the numbers tell us about Clemson and Wofford?

3 – Number of field goals of 45 or more yards for K Chandler Catanzaro against Troy. The sophomore only made two of 45 yards or more all of last year.  

8 – Number of winning seasons in the past nine for Wofford. 

12 – Total number of true freshman that played against Troy last week, the most true freshman in one game in school history. 

13 – Previous meetings against Wofford. The Tigers are 10-3 in those contests, including 6-0 at Clemson.   

14 – The number of years Clemson was a member of the Southern Conference (1938 – 1952). The Terriers just completed their 14th year as a SoCon member last season.  

14.6 – Average margin of victory for Clemson in their previous 13 games against Wofford. All-tme the Tigers have outscored the Terriers 267-77, or an average of 20.5-5.9.
