Clemson starting quarterback Tajh Boyd believes the offense did some good things Saturday, but believes there is still plenty of room for improvement.

“We did some good things.  We just have to keep working.  We have a lot to work on to get ready for the Auburn game,” said Boyd.

Is there one area where the team improved today or did they take a step back?

“Right now we are playing like a second half team.  We did some good things in the second half today and last week we did some in the second half.  We have to make sure we have a complete game.  That is one of the things we are not doing completely right now.  We need to keep working from there.  We need to get in the film room Monday morning and put this one to bed and get ready for the Auburn game,” said Boyd.

Are there concerns about pass protection?

“Not at all.  That is just something we have to get worked out with the whole offensive line.  There could be things I’m doing as well.  Maybe I need to step up in there a little bit more.  It is not one particular area that is lacking right now.  We just need to pull together as a unit and keep working,” said Boyd.
