Clemson verbal commitment Jay Jay McCullough helped lead Nation Ford to a 55-0 victory Friday night. caught up with the top prospect after the game.

“We played good.  We played good as a team but we had bad, bad penalties.  We stayed focused and came back out in the second half and played real well,” said McCullough.

In the first half Jay Jay caught a touchdown pass to put Nation Ford up 14-0.

“We ran a waggle left and I came across and I was open.  I waved and let him know I was open and he hit me on that,” said McCullough.

The future Tiger will be in Death Valley several times this month.

“I will be there tomorrow (Wofford).  Then I will be there for Auburn and Florida State,” said McCullough.

What is Jay Jay hearing from the Clemson coaches?

“I talk to them about once a week.  They stay on me hard to make sure I am doing good in the class room.  Everything is going good with them,” said McCullough.

How does it feel to have the decision behind you?

“I am happy I made that decision.  Now I can just focus and everything I need done at schoo,” said McCullough.
