Clemson senior defensive end Andre Branch believes the Tigers will face another great Auburn team this weekend.  With the loss of Cam Newton and others Andre doesn’t see much of a dropoff from last year’s national championship team.

“Nah, I just see a great team.  They have great players.  They still have great skill players and great linemen so they are still a great team,” said Branch.

Does last year’s loss give the Tigers more motivation this week?

“You could say it was motivation, but it is the next game.  It is the most important game because it is the next one.  That is how we take it,” said Branch.

What has Andre seen about Auburn’s quarterback Trotter on film?

“Trotter is a great player.  He has a strong arm.  He of course can’t run like Cam but he is a quarterback.  You give a quarterback enough time and he is going to take off,” said Branch.

Does playing an SEC team get the Tigers more fired up to play this week?

“No, not really.  I don’t pay attention to the SEC talk and all that.  I mean Wofford played us great so you can’t say we are playing an SEC team so you have to get jacked up.  They are another team on our schedule that we need to be focused on,” said Branch.
