Clemson verbal commitment Ronald Geohaghan visited Death Valley Saturday where he watched Clemson defeat Auburn.
“I think it was a great performance by Sammy and the offense. They showed what they have. Basically they showed the ACC can compete with any conference,” said Geohaghan.
True freshman Sammy Watkins made a big impression on the prize recruit.
“He is a legend in the making,” said Geohaghan.
During the visit coach Swinney met with the future Tiger and his father.
“I talked with coach Hobby and coach Cheese. Me and my dad got to talk with Dabo in his office. He just told me to have a great season. He told me to finish strong in the classroom and on the field. He told me the team was looking pretty good heading into the game. He was right,” said Geohaghan.
Allendale-Fairfax is off to a good start thanks to the two-way standout.
“We are doing pretty good. We are 2-2 right now. They don’t run to my side a lot but I make the best of it. I had eight tackles in the first game and nine in the second,” said Geohaghan.
Expect to see Ronald back in the Valley this weekend.
“Yes sir, I will be there. I am looking forward to it,” said Geohaghan.
