Jonathan Bullard, one of the nation’s top defensive lineman, visited Death Valley on Saturday where he watched Clemson beat Florida State.
“I came down with my dad. It was fun. I had a great time,” said Bullard.
Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney spoke with Jonathan and his father before the game.
“I got to talk with coach Swinney. He told me he just wanted me to be part of the Tiger family. He said he was glad to see me in Clemson,” said Bullard.
The fans made a good impression on the 5-star defensive end with their noise for four quarters.
“It was a good game. The crowd was loud. I had a hard time hearing,” said Bullard.
When asked how he is coming on reaching a decision, Bullard responded, “I still have a bit to go”.
Is the prize recruit ready to comment on his favorites?
“I don’t have any favorites right now. Clemson is up there,” replied Bullard.
Another visit to South Carolina is on tap for next weekend, but this time the destination is Columbia.
“I am going to South Carolina next week,” said Bullard.
