As football season gets underway the Rally Cat Report returns to TheClemsonInsider.com. Each week get the latest from one of the Tiger’s Rally Cats.
This Rally Cat season is turning out to be quite the experience. It has been a blast cheering on our undefeated tigers, and I can’t wait to for what lies ahead! It’s hard to believe that the season is about halfway over, with just three home games left. I’m going to be a senior before I know it! Of those three remaining home games, is tomorrow’s homecoming game against Boston College.
As a Rally Cat, I absolutely love homecoming at Clemson University. Bowman is filled with floats, school spirit is at an all time high, and its time for the infamous Tigerama pep rally. Tigerama is particularly exciting, as it is one of the few times we are able to perform in a setting other than the football field or basketball court, while demonstrating skills different from pom. As always, we have three routines prepared for this year’s pep rally. Each is a unique style, and will be alternated with three routines prepared by your Clemson Cheerleaders.
In addition to thoroughly enjoying our Rally Cat performance at Tigerama, I love seeing all the other entertainers as well. There are so many talented groups here at Clemson, and each one shows a genuine and enthusiastic sense of school spirit through whatever skill they have. For anyone interested in meeting some of these individuals, the Rally Cats and various other athletic teams will be attending the event preceding Tigerama on the lawn outside Little John Coliseum.
Following Friday’s festivities, it’s game time in Death Valley! I can honestly say that every game this year has exceeded my expectations. I think each week, “no way will next weeks game be better than that; that was incredible.” But the next game comes, and sure enough it is even more unbelievable than the last. That being said, I expect nothing less out of tomorrow’s game. I realize more each day how lucky I am to represent such an awesome school with such amazing people. I’m ready to see the team get there sixth win tomorrow! Go Tigers!
