O’Rourke-McFadden Trophy on the Line
For the fourth time the Tigers and Eagles will play for the O’Rourke-McFadden trophy. Clemson held the trophy after wins in 2008 and 2009. Boston College won the trophy last season. The Boston College Gridiron Club began giving the award to the winner in 2008.
Clemson is 5-0 on the season for the first time since 2000. In 2000 the Tigers started 8-0. It is just the tenth time the Tigers started at least 5-0.

Tajh Boyd is ranked in the top 20 in the nation in passing efficiency with 14 touchdowns and only two interceptions. The 7/1 ratio is on pace to be the best in Clemson history.
With 14 touchdowns in just five games Boyd is tied for fifth in the nation in touchdowns.
Boyd Will Tie Record with Win
Tajh Boyd has won each of his first five starts. With another win Saturday Tajh will tie Mike Eppley for the most wins to start a career. Eppley won his first six starts in 82-83.

Senior Andre Branch had the best game of his career against Virginia Tech when he had 11 tackles and a record tying four sacks.
