Rally Cat Report

By Georgia Anderson.

The Rally Cats will do their best to energize the fans in Death Valley again Saturday.  Each week get the latest from one of the Tiger’s Rally Cats.

It’s hard to believe we are down to our last two home football games of the season.  To say it has shaped up to be the best one I could imagine is an understatement; it has been absolutely awesome.  I enjoy cheering my Tigers on from the sidelines win or lose, but the feeling of dancing for an undefeated team is something you can describe.  The energy from the crowd has been electric for the entirety of every game, and my eyes have been glued to the field start to finish.  Coming out of high school I knew nothing about football and honestly, wasn’t too interested in it.  Throughout my three years here however, I have developed a love of it, and more specifically of Clemson football.  It is the highlight of my fall semesters here!  I plan on cherishing every moment of these last two home games, as I know that as this season closes I will have just one left!

Football isn’t all I look forward to though.  I’m so excited that basketball season is just around the corner!  It’s always fun to showcase our dancing in an atmosphere different from the football field as we step foot on the court.  Today will kick that off with Rock the John at 8pm tonight in Little John Coliseum.  We get to pump up the crowd, help introduce your women’s and men’s teams, and provide a little entertainment while we are at it.  We have quite the collaboration with a certain team that I think every one will get a kick out of, so don’t miss it!  Doors open at 7:30, and the first 500 fans will get free t-shirts.

It seems every year flies by faster and faster.  I can’t believe how old I’m getting and think every time I dance with my teammates how lucky I am.  Each experience is better than the last and I wouldn’t trade these years as a Rally Cat for anything!   Get ready for an awesome weekend fans; Go Tigers!
