The day got even better for head coach Dabo Swinney when R.J. Prince committed to the Tigers after whipping North Carolina.  After the game the star offensive lineman told the Clemson staff he planned to be a Tiger.

“During the game I genuinely decided to commit and I already want to be on the field.  I told coach Swinney and he told me to keep my grades up and work hard,” said Prince.

Coach Swinney had a message for the prize recruit.

“He told me as of now he is going to look our for me as if I was his own.  That made my day and in the end I am going to be a Tiger,” said Prince.

Why did R.J. pull the trigger today on his commitment?

“I felt like I had to pull the trigger.  Clemson is high in the field of marketing which is my major.  The combination of a friendly, yet electric atmosphere really did it for me.  I really feel at home and its very special down at Death Valley.  Now I gotta keep my head, keep up in my school work, and perform well on the field.  In about a year I’ll give my all on the field for this very amazing progra.  All In,” said Prince.
