Boyd Doesn't Expect Any More Loses

Clemson’s Tajh Boyd couldn’t rally the Tigers all the way back Saturday night at Bobby Dodd Stadium.  Missed opportunities was the story of the night according to Tajh.

“Absolutely.  It was a little bit of everything defensively, special teams wise and not just offense.  It was all phases.  You just have to soak it up and try not to let these experiences hinder you in the rest of the season.  We are excited about the opportunity we have ahead of us and just have to keep working,” said Boyd.

How much did Tajh miss No. 23 Saturday?

“Andre is definitely a crucial part of this offense and we definitely missed him.  They young guys did a really good job tonight.  One of the things we really missed was the leadership role but D.J. and Mike stepped up and did a great job.  It was definitely valuable experience for those guys and it is only going to help them get better as players.  We will get Andre back for the Wake Forest game at full speed and continue to work from there,” said Boyd.

When is the last time Tajh lost a game that he started?

“It was junior year of high school in the playoffs.  That is the most disappointing thing.  I am really just not accustomed to losing but this is a different level.  I don’t expect any more loses during the season honestly.  I can tell you we are going to give everybody all we got and continue to grow as players.  We are just going to have to look back on this one day and see that we learned from it,” said Boyd.
