The Guillermo Diaries - Official Visit Time

By Jay Guillermo.

All-American Jay Guillermo, one of the leaders of the Tiger’s 2012 class, is doing a diary with  In this edition Jay talks about his upcoming official visit, his undefeated season and much more!

We are still undefeated.  We start the playoffs this week.  We ended up winning 40-0 this week.  It was the absolute muddiest game I have every played in.  It was raining and windy.  The field was a mess as it had rained the last two days.  It was just a mud hole.  We wore white and were all covered it mud.  It was fun getting all muddy and dirty.

Their defensive tackle almost got ejected from the game.  He was only about 5-8, 210 but he was strong.  He played super low but I kind of liked it.  I could still get under him.  On one play I drove him down the field ten or 15 yards and then pancaked him.  Then he shoves me in my back and gets on me and hits me.  The referee pulls him off and he got a flag.  I just got up and smiled at him.

I watched the Clemson game.  It was a tough one to watch but it was a good learning experience.  You have to come to play every week, especially against a good Georgia Tech team.

I will be taking my official visit for the Wake Forest game.  They are bringing in a lot of the guys that are enrolling early for their official visits that weekend.

I am looking forward to getting to talk with some of the other recruits during my visit.  My mom is excited to talk with some of the other parents.  I have been there so much there isn’t anything special I want to see.  It is just exciting to go.  Every time I go to Clemson I get excited.

I have been talking with Chad Kelly.  It will be good to see him.  I have also been talking some with Eddie Goldman.
