Freeman - No Trap Game

Clemson junior offensive lineman Dalton Freeman knows many will think this week’s game against NC State is a trap game, but he says this year is different.

“Based off years past I can see that, but I don’t think in any way it is a trap game for us.  We have a totally different set of guys and a totally different set of coaches.  We have a totally different mindset.  We are only guaranteed 12 games a year.  We work 365 days a year for it.  I don’t think this is a trap game.  If we lose Florida State can still tie us for the division.  We have a chance to go out and win every division game, which is something that hasn’t been done (in the Atlantic).  There is a lot at stake and I think our guys are ready for the challenge,” said Freeman.
