Tajh and the Tigers struggled last Saturday against NC State and the Tigers have struggled the last three games. Does Tajh believe he can regain the confidence he had earlier in the season?
“Yes definitely. We take some good things from it and also some bad things from it and just try to learn from it. That is all you can do at this point. Everyboyd is sore physically this time of year. It just depends on how well you prepare this week. I know guys are going to get extra studying in this week. It is a very big game, a very important game for us as a University as well so we just have to prepare this week and execute the plan,” said Boyd.
Does Tajh feel any less confident than he did three weeks ago?
“No, not at all. There are some things we have to work on internally as a group. I feel like things will come together. We had a meeting Monday between the players and the coaches. It is going to have to be a joint effort for us to finish this thing strong,” said Boyd.
Tajh knows the South Carolina defense will prevent a big challenge for the Tigers.
“It is definitely a challenge for us. We know what they bring to the table. It is a night game in Columbia. It will be an exciting atmosphere. They will be fired up. We are going to have to find some way to put that fire out. It will depend on how well we come out and play. I think the guys will give their best effort. That is all we can guarantee,” said Boyd.
