5-star defensive end Jonathan Bullard led Crest high school to the state finals.
“We lost in the finals. I was proud of my team that we made it there. I got the defensive player of the game,” said Bullard.
Saturday night Jonathan watched Clemson win the ACC Championship.
“I watched the game on TV. Clemson played good. They played like they did at the beginning of the season,” said Bullard.
Forest City was full of college coaches last week as a number of schools stopped by to meet with Jonathan.
“Coaches from Clemson, Florida and South Carolina came by last week,” said Bullard.
In the next two weeks the Crest standout will announce his college destination.
“It is getting closer. I am going to probably announce the week after the Shrine Bowl,” said Bullard.
Does Jonathan have his decision made or is he still working on the decision?
“I have some ideas. I have a few more things to consider,” replied Bullard.
The prize recruit is anxious to make his announcement.
“I’m ready for it to be over,” said Bullard.
Next week Jonathan will represent North Carolina in the Shrine Bowl.
“It is a big honor. I can’t wait to go out there and play. My high school days are almost over. I just want to go out there and have fun,” said Bullard.
