Clemson Commits Working Gurley

By caught up with North Carolina Shrine Bowl running back Todd Gurley Tuesday after practice.

“We are learning the plays and everything and just coming out here and getting good looks against our defense,” said Gurley.

Todd sat out practice on Tuesday.

“The coaches don’t want me to hurt my ankles any more.  I am just getting fresh and going in there an learning the plays,” said Gurley.

The 11 Clemson verbal commits are working hard to convince Todd to join them in Tigertown.

“I hung around last night with some of the guys from the South Carolina team and the North Carolina and they were trying to convince me and all of that,” said Gurley.

Are the Clemson commits making any progress this week?

“(Smiling) They are trying.  I was just like alright.  I haven’t thought about it too much.  I have just been chillin really,” said Gurley.

What does Todd hope to get out of Saturday’s game?

“I am just trying to get that win and 200 plus yards and three touchdowns,” replied Gurley.
