TheClemsonInsider.com caught up with Clemson verbal commitment Cordrea Tankersley after Shrine Bowl practice.

“It has been pretty good.  It has been pretty physical, fast, up tempo.  It has been great,” said Tankersley.

There has been some talk of playing Cordrea on offense this week.

“Yesterday they had me doing some wildcat quarterback, but I didn’t do any today,” said Tankersley.

The talented athlete will player corner this week.

“I am playing the corner position and I haven’t played that since 10th grade,” said Tankersley.

Are the Clemson commits making progress trying to convince Bullard, Gurley and Reader to join them in Tigertown?

“We are making great progress with them.  They are great skill players and Clemson is a great skill school and it is perfect for them.  They seem like well down to earth people and that is what we need at Clemson,” said Tankersley.
