Clemson, SC – Clemson is ranked #25 in Collegiate Baseball’s 2012 preseason poll, released on Monday.  It marks the 24th consecutive season that Clemson has earned a preseason top-25 ranking by one of the three major polls.  Florida is atop the Collegiate Baseball poll, followed by #2 South Carolina, #3 Stanford, #4 North Carolina, and #5 Texas.

Clemson had a 43-20 overall record in 2011 and returns 21 lettermen, including All-ACC players Phil Pohl (UT) and Richie Shaffer (3B/1B).  The Tigers will open the 2012 season on February 17 against UAB at Doug Kingsmore Stadium.
