Official Visit Update - Martin Aiken

CLEMSON, caught up with future Clemson defensive end Martin Aiken to get the details on his official visit.

How did the future Tiger enjoy his official visit?

It went really good, I didn’t want to come home actually. I can’t wait to get back to Clemson and enroll.

Who came with you on your visit?

My mom and my sister came with me.

What was the highlight of the visit for you?

Seeing part of Clemson that I hadn’t seen before. I felt like I was already on the team being able to hang out with guys that I will be playing with for the next few years.

How did the visit rate on a scale of 1-10?

I’d definitely give it a 10.

What did you and your player host do on Saturday night?

Grady Jarrett was my host and we just went and hung out with Nuk, Sammy, Corey Crawford, Tony Steward, and Corico Hawkins.

Tell us about your conversation with the coaches

Coach Swinney met with my family and I and just told my mom how much he appreciates her letting me be a part of what he’s trying to do at Clemson. I also met with Coach Hobby who told me to be ready to work and learn when I got here and do as much as I can during the off season so that I can see the field early.

Did you hear if Whitehead committed?

I hung out with him basically the whole time because Corey Crawford was his player host. I know that he had a really great time, really loved Clemson. He told me that he has a really difficult decision to make.
