Baseball Commit Update - Kevin Bradley

By

TheClemsonInsider.com caught up with Clemson verbal commitment Kevin Bradley to see how preparations are coming for his senior season.  The 6-2,  185 pound  infielder starts spring practice later that teams down South.

“We start practice late up here.  Our first day is March 5.  We had some snow in October, but we haven’t had any since,” said Bradley.

While the New Jersey standout waits for the weather to warm, he is doing his best to get in some workouts.

“I am going a lot of strength work and speed stuff.  On January first I started doing some hitting, throwing and taking some balls with my dad and little brothers.  We go over to Princeton which is where my dad works,” said Bradley.

Hopewell should have good team in 2012.

“We have a chance to be pretty good.  We didn’t lose anything but some pitching.  We have some young pitchers and if they throw strikes we should be pretty good,” said Bradley.

What are Kevin’s goals for his senior season?

“I want to win the state.  My sophomore year we close,” said Bradley.

In September Kevin came down for his official visit.

“I was down for the Florida State game.  It was me and Zack Erwin on our officials that weekend but a lot of the other guys came over for unofficial,” said Bradley.

Kevin is already getting to know some of his future Clemson teammates.

“I talk with some of the guys.  I talk with Wales, Tyler and Lucas a good bit,” said Bradley.

The shortstop hopes to be able to get down to Doug Kingsmore this season to watch his future teammates.

“I hope to get down to see them.  I would definitely love to,” said Bradley.
