Brady is Back

Nobody was as excited to hit the practice field as Kevin Brady as the Tiger’s ace is back healthy after last year’s injury.

“It feels really good.  My arm feels really good.  Fall was really good.  I took some time off over the summer so I am just ready for the season to start,” said Brady.

Has Kevin let is loose yet?

“Yeah, I have thrown a couple of bullpens.  I have just been throwing bullpens.  It has felt good so far.  I am just ready to get back out there on the mound,” said Brady.

What was the final diagnosis on his injury?

“It was just a forearm strain.  Just a muscle.  No damage,” said Brady.

Kevin believes he will have all of his pitches available after taking he summer off.

“I have been throwing breaking balls the whole fall.  I took time off over the summer to let everything heal.  It just felt great.  Me and Pep have been doing a lot of breaking ball work so it feels great.  I feel like all of my pitches are there,” said Brady.

How does it feel to be the ace of the staff?

“I feel like everyone just needs to go out there and do their job.  We have the components to be a great team this year.  The hitters are going to do their job and the pitchers are going to do their job.  We just have to go out there and play Clemson baseball,” said Brady.
