Just when everyone thought signing day was over 5-star 2014 QB DeShaun Watson gave the Clemson coaching staff some great news when he called to give his verbal commitment.

As Jeff Scott spoke at the press conference cheers could be heard coming from coach Swinney’s office.  Last weekend DeShaun visited Clemson for Junior Day. 

After talking with his parents the star quarterback decided he knew where he wanted to go and didn’t need to wait any longer.

As a sophomore Watson threw for 3,251 yards and 41 touchdowns with only six interceptions.  He also rushed for 1,073 yards and 16 touchdowns.
