One of Nation's Best Commits to Tigers

By

Clemson head coach Jack Leggett and the Tiger’s baseball program received some great news Friday when the nation’s No. 2 2013 prospect gave a verbal commitment to the Tigers.

Center fielder Austin Meadows from Grayson High School in Georgia   The final two schools for Meadows were the Tigers and rival South Carolina.  Austin had offers from every school in the ACC and the SEC and in the end selected the Tigers.

Last summer Meadows was the starting center fielder for Team USA.  The left hander helped lead Team USA to a 9-0 Gold Medal victory over Cuba.
