TheClemsonInsider.com caught up with 2012 Clemson commitment Kyle Whitman as he prepares for his final season at Nation Ford.
“I will play third this year. I think we will be good. The only problem is we are kind of young,” said Whitman.
Kyle looks forward to getting over to Doug Kingsmore soon to see the Tigers.
“I am ready to go watch them. I am going to go over as soon as I can. I will get over there sometime in the next few weeks,” said Whitman.
How will the Tigers do this season?
“I think they are going to be set. They should be pretty good this year,” said Whitman.
Kyle keeps in touch with several members of the 2012 class.
“I have played with three of them on the same travel team. Wales Toney, Jackson Campana and Brody Koerner. We talk every now a good bit,” said Whitman.
What are Kyle’s goals for his senior year?
“I just want to go out there and play ball. I want to be a leader to everybody else. Hopefully we can make it to the state,” said Whitman.
Kyle believes the 2012 class will be a good one for the Tigers.
“I think we can be real good. I have played against a lot of them. They are stout,” said Whitman.
