Alexander - "I love them"

Mackensie Alexander, one of the top corners in the nation, visited Florida for Junior Day last weekend.

“It was cool. It was a good experience.  I had fun down there.  The coaches treated me right.  The campus was nice,” said Alexander.

Florida picked up commitments from a number of top prospects on Junior Day.  Did the Gators try to get Mackensie to join the commitment parade?

“Not really.  They want me to be a Gator, but at the end of the day they know it is my decision.  We talked about it.  I am going to make the best decision for me,” replied Alexander.

Will the top corner be in Clemson for Junior Day on March 3?

“No, I won’t be able to make it then,” said Alexander.

Although Mackensie won’t make it for Junior Day he does plan to visit Tigertown soon.

“I will get up there.  I’m just not sure when yet,” said Alexander.

What is Mackensie hearing from the Clemson coaches?

“I love them.  They are recruiting me hard.  That is my favorite school.  They know that.  Coach Dabo and coach Venables I have talked with them.  They know I am being patient,” said Alexander.

The star athlete is showing his speed on the track this spring.

“I am running track.  I fun the 100 and 200.  I run a 10.8 in the 100,” said Alexander.
