Clemson was the latest to offer one of the top 2014 receivers in the South, Demarre Kitt. The Tigers made the move on the 6-1, 185 pound Sandy Creek receiver last week.
“Clemson offered last Wednesday. It felt good to get the offer. It was a confidence booster,” said Kitt.
The offer list is already growing for the super sophomore.
“I have six offers. Georgia, Auburn, Ole Miss, South Carolina, Clemson and Cincinatti,” said Kitt.
Which coaches are recruiting the Georgia standout for the Tigers?
“Coach Scott and coach Cheese are recruiting me for Clemson. I like them a lot. They tell me they really want me at Clemson,” said Kitt.
Demarre is making his rounds to visit Junior Days. A trip to Clemson is on tap for March.
“I went to Georgia already. I am going to Auburn on the 25th and then I will be at Clemson on March 3,” said Kitt.
What will be important to the top receiver when he makes his college selection over the next few years?
“I will look at the coaches. I will look at the location of the school. I will also look at the offense they run. I would like to play in the spread offense,” replied Kitt.
