6-3, 235 pound defensive end Lewis Neal picked up offers from Clemson and Ohio State on the same day last week.
“It was an amazing day. It is funny how I got both of those on the same day. It couldn’t get any better,” said Neal.
Ohio State offered first in the morning then the good news came from the Tigers.
“Right after school Clemson called my school. They said I had an offer,” said Neal.
When asked about his current favorites, Neal responded, “I really don’t have any. I am going to take my visits first”.
The prize recruit will be on the road a lot the next few months.
“I am planning to go to Wake Forest this week. Everybody that offers me is going to get a visit. I want to see everyone to make sure I make the right decision,” said Neal.
When will Lewis visit Clemson?
“It will probably be sometime this spring,” responded Neal.
What will be important when the Wilson, NC standout makes his selection?
“I will look to see if they have my major, exercise physiology. I will look for a place where I feel like home. I want to find somewhere that I would be happy even if I wasn’t playing football,” said Neal.
The decision timing is unknown at this time for the top defensive end.
“When I get all of the visits done I will make my decision. It will be a while,” said Neal.
