Leggett Commits to Tigers

The Clemson staff got some good news Saturday when Jordan Leggett committed to the Tigers.

“I went to Junior Day today along with my father and my little brother.  The whole thing was pretty cool.  They really gave us special treatment.  At the end of the day it just felt right,” said Leggett.

How did the commitment go down?

“When I talked to coach Swinney I told him I wanted to play at Clemson.  We sat down and talked.  He brought coach Morris in and we talked.  They were both really happy about it,” replied Leggett.

The 6-6, 220 pound prospect has offers from Clemson, Lousville, Central Florida and South Florida.  Why did he decide to commit to the Tigers?

“It just felt like home.  When I took the bus trip around to The Rock.  As soon as I got off the bus I could see myself there with the stands full.  I got to talk with Brandon Ford.  Everyone told me everything about how great Clemson was.  It already feels like home,” said Leggett.

How does it feel to get the decision done?

“It feels great.  I am ready to get to Clemson and get started,” said Leggett.

How firm is the commitment to the Tigers?

“It is firm.  I am done,” said Leggett.

Jordan becomes the second verbal commitment for Clemson’s 2013 class.
