The ACC went 13-4 in non-conference action during midweek games last week as only NC State (4-0) had a perfect week on the diamond. With conference play in full swing, the top matchup this weekend is a Saturday-Monday series featuring the only matchup between ranked teams as #11 NC State travels to #4 North Carolina.

The Blue Devils did stop a seven-game losing streak with a Friday night win over #10 Miami (FL), but have still lost nine of their past 10 games. This week Duke hosts a very good Liberty squad on Tuesday before traveling to Blacksburg to face Virginia Tech in a series that both teams need to win.

The Yellow Jackets, ranked as high as #14 in the country, rebounded with a good week that saw head coach Danny Hall win his 1,000th career game. This week Georgia Tech travels to arch-rival #17 Georgia on Tuesday before going up to Boston College this weekend in ACC action.
