Jenkins Takes Home MVP Award

4-star receiver Ryan Jenkins showed over the weekend why he is one of the top receivers in the Peach state.

“I won the wide receiver MVP at the VTO combine this weekend.  There was some of the top talent in the state there.  I felt like I held my own against some of the top defensive backs,” said Jenkins.

Monday Martin will begin a his high school career at a new school.

“Starting tomorrow I am going to swing from Milton to Lassiter.  Tomorrow will be my first day.  My dad is a pastor at church and the new school is closer to his church,” said Jenkins.

The offense at Lassiter will make good use of the prize recruits talents.

“I will like it there.  They throw the ball around a lot,” said Jenkins.

Another trip to Clemson is on tap in April.

“I will be at Clemson for the spring game.  In terms of other visits I am not sure who I next,” said Jenkins.

The decision timing has now been set for Martin.

“I want to make my decision over the July 4th weekend,” said Jenkins.

When asked about his current favorites, Jenkins responded, “My favorites right now would be Clemson, Georgia, Alabama and Oklahoma State.  I am still open to other schools.”

How does older brother Martin like spring practice for the Tigers?

“He is enjoying it a lot.  He is having a little trouble with the new defense.  Everyone is having some issue adjusting, but he likes it a lot and says it is much simpler,” responded Jenkins.
