Boyd Impressed with Skill Positions

By caught up with Tajh Boyd following Friday’s practice.  Tajh is excited about the skill players that are coming back for the Tigers.

“Definitely impressive those boys.  That is one of the best parts about it.  This is one of those years where Clemson actually has a veteran set of skill players, the running back core down to the receivers.  I am excited the way these boys are performing in practice.  They are out there pushing it, fighting it out there.  Not literally, (smiling) sometimes literally too.  They are all out there working hard and that is all I can really ask for them as a group,” said Boyd.

Tajh spent his spring break working with two football greats instead of heading to the beach.

“Honestly spring break coaches aren’t allowed to work with us so I thought that would serve as a great time to go out there and get some extra work, especially from some guys that are so prolific as far as their football game goes.  With George Whitfield and Trent Dilford out there with me.  It was good.  I felt like it was the little things here and there like foot work and tuning up the mechanics,” said Boyd.
