2014 running back Dalvin Cooke will be one of the top running backs in the South next year.  The offers are starting to come in already for the speedster.

“Right now I have offers from Louisville, Miami and West Virginia,” said Cooke.

This spring Dalvin is showing his speed on the track.

“I am running track right now.  I ran a 10.8 100,” said Cooke.

One team that Cooke has been following closely is the Tigers.

“I started liking Clemson because of C.J. Spiller.  I watched him a lot.  We are the same type of back,” said Cooke.

When asked about any early favorites, Cooke responded, “Right now I really don’t have any”.

“I want Clemson to be my first visit.  I want to go see what it is like.  I also want to visit Auburn and Ohio State,” said Cooke.

What type of back is the Miami Central standout.

“I am a speed back.  Once I get to the linebackers they can’t catch me,” said Cooke.

Although Dalvin shares carries with another top rated back, Joseph Yearby he is putting up impressive numbers.  Last year the prize recruit had an outstanding sophomore season.

“I had 90 carries for 900 yards with nine touchdowns.  I also had one kickoff return,” said Cooke.
