Ryan Jenkins had an impressive performance at the Nike training camp where he showed that he can compete against the best.

“I went to the Nike training camp in Atlanta.  I had a great performance and won the MVP award for the receivers,” said Jenkins.

Ryan is trying to show that he is one of the top 2013 receivers in the nation.

“The past couple of weeks I have just been trying to prove myself as one of the best receivers in the 2013 class,” said Jenkins.

Several camp visits are already planned.

“I am going to Alabama on June 3 and Oklahoma State on June 9.  There will be more visits but I don’t know the dates yet,” said Jenkins.

The Tigers will also get a camp visit.

“I am also going to camp at Clemson.  I am not sure of the date yet,” said Jenkins.

Coaches from several schools have stopped by the past couple of weeks.

“Clemson, Mississippi State and Tennessee have all been by the school,” said Jenkins.

What is Ryan hearing from the Clemson staff?

“It is the same stuff.   They know I am pretty comfortable with them.  I have been there so much,” replied Jenkins.

Older brother Martin expects Clemson to have a big year and likes the new defense.

“He tells me the defense is so much simpler.  They are getting the calls in and knowing what to do.  He says they will have a big year,” said Jenkins.
