Clemson verbal commitment Wayne Gallman has been focused on football and academics.  The 4-star running back in almost finished with spring practice.

“I have just been focusing on football and school work.  Our spring practice has gone good.  We have our spring game on Friday,” said Gallman.

The Clemson coaches keep in touch with the prize recruit and plan to come watch his spring game.

“I talked to coach Morris on Wednesday.  He and coach Elliott are coming to my spring game. They are just telling me to keep focused and keep up with my school work,” said Gallman.

What is Wayne’s reaction to the news that Mike Bellamy will not return for 2012.

“I talked to my mom about it.  She said that is why she pushed me so hard in the classroom because you never know what might happen.   I have always been taught by my mom to focus on school.  Everything is not just about football.  When I get to Clemson I will focus on both football and academics” replied Gallman.

Wayne and his Grayson High teammates are talking about visiting Clemson in June for camp.

“We are coming up for the camp.  We are going to spend the night and spend a couple of days.  I know David is coming.  I am not sure about Robert yet,” said Gallman.
