Spring football concluded for Grayson defensive back David Kamara on Friday with the annual spring game.
“It was good. I did pretty good. I had a couple of tackles but the really didn’t throw my way,” said Kamara.
Clemson sent two coaches to watch the spring game along with several other top programs.
“Coach Elliott and coach Venables came by from Clemson. LSU, Alabama and Ole Miss were also there,’ said Kamara.
In a few weeks David will visit Clemson for the Dabo Swinney football camp.
“We are going to get up to Clemson for camp. We will spend a couple of days. Wayne is coming and I think Robert will probably come,” said Kamara.
The offer list continues to grow for David.
“I just got two more offers. Illinois and Wake Forest,” said Kamara.
A decision should come over the summer.
“I am going to visit a couple of colleges this summer. I will make my decision before the summer is over,” said Kamara.
Teammate and Clemson verbal commitment Wayne Gallman is working hard to get David to join him as a Tiger.
“He is pushing me hard,” said Kamara.
Is he making any progress?
“Yeah, Clemson has always been up there. Before he committed I really liked them. Once he did that just helped more,” said Kamara.
Which other teams are up there with Clemson?
“Ole Miss and LSU,” said Kamara.
