Dabo Answers Conference Concerns for Gallman

All of the rumors of a possible conference change for the Tigers had Clemson verbal commitment Wayne Gallman reconsidering his commitment to the Tigers.  Coach Swinney assured the top running back and his family that the Tigers will no be leaving the ACC for the Big 12.

“I talked with coach Swinney.  He basically straightened everything out.  He told me there would be no conference change for Clemson.  He said they already had a meeting and Clemson was staying in the ACC.  He talked to my mom and everything is fine now,” said Gallman.

What was the concern about Clemson possibly moving to the Big 12?

“My concern was just all of the games that would have been across the country.  My family wouldn’t be able to make the trip to see me play a lot of the games,” replied Gallman.

The Grayson High standout does not plan any other visits now and is firm with the Tigers.

“I am 100 percent,” said Gallman.

The prize recruit will be on campus next week for the Dabo Swinney High School football camp.

“I am coming to Clemson next week.  I will be coming up on Friday and leaving on Sunday.  David is coming with me along with some of our other teammates.  Robert (Nkemdiche) is coming also I think,” said Gallman.

What does Wayne plan to do while on campus for the weekend?

“I am going to participate in some of the camp.  I just want to spend time around some of the guys and get to know the players and coaches better,” said Gallman.
