2014 running back Dalvin Cooke will be traveling to Clemson this week for the Dabo Swinney High School football camp.
“I think I am going up Tuesday or Wednesday. I am not sure how long I will stay, but it will probably be overnight,” said Cooke.
Who will be making the long trip from Miami with the prize recruit?
“I am coming with one of my coaches and a couple of my teammates,” said Cooke.
After growing up pulling for the Tigers, Dalvin looks forward to seeing what the Tigers have to offer.
“It will be my first visit to Clemson. I want to see if it really fits me. I want to see if it’s the school for me. I will check out the coaches and see what kind of bond we have,” said Cooke.
Could a commitment to the Tigers come during the visit to Tigertown?
“There is a chance. If things go well I might go ahead,” said Cooke.
If Dalvin doesn’t pull the trigger with a commitment to the Tigers this weekend a few others visits will be on tap for this summer.
“I would also like to go to Florida, Georgia and Florida Atlantic,” said Cooke.
What is the Florida standout hearing from the Clemson staff?
“They just want me to get up for the visit. They said they are looking forward to seeing me,” replied Cooke.
