Clemson offered Texas safety Dylan Sumner-Gardner after an impressive camp performance and immediately received a verbal commitment.
The 6-0, 190 pound athlete from Mesquite, TX is expected to play defensive back for the Tigers. The Clemson staff got a good look at Dylan as he worked out at the first session of the Dabo Swinney Football camp.
Dylan already had an offer from TCU and was receiving early interest from Oklahoma, Arkansas and Texas A&M.
Sumner-Gardner becomes the third commitment for Clemson’s 2014 class and the third in two days.
