4-star athlete Jayron Kearse attended the first session of the Dabo Swinney Football Camp and came away very impressed with he Tigers.
“It was real good. I loved the coaches and the way they run the program,” said Kearse.
The Clemson staff worked hard to see the program to the Fort Meyers standout.
“They just told me about all of the opportunities I would have to do things like early playing time due to the safeties leaving. They told me what I bring to the table and how much they need me, not want me,” said Kearse.
How does Jayron’s commitment to Miami stand after the visit to Clemson?
“I would say it is probably a soft commitment,” replied Kearse.
Coach Cheese made a big impression on Jayron.
“He’s a cool guy who cares about his players in all aspects,” said Kearse.
What did Jayron think of the Tigers getting a commitment from the nation’s top prospect Robert Nkemdiche?
“I heard about that. That really pumped me up because I was always high on Clemson and now that they got him it really shows the direction Clemson is headed,” replied Kearse.
