Montravius Adams, the nation’s top defensive tackle, won’t be in Clemson this weekend. Instead he will be in Alabama checking out the Tide.
“I am off to Alabama tomorrow (Friday),” said Adams.
The Georgia standout visited Tennessee to see what the Vols have to offer.
“I went to Tennessee. It was a good visit. It was alright,” said Adams.
Montravius plans to get to Clemson later this summer.
“I am going to get up to Clemson. I am not sure when but I will get up there,” said Adams.
When asked about his current favorites, Adams responded, “I am open right now”.
The prize recruit still plans to wait until 2013 for a commitment.
“I am going to announce on signing day,” said Adams.
How did Montravius react to the commitment of Robert Nkemdiche to the Tigers?
“I heard about it. We aren’t really that close but it was a good pickup for Clemson,” said Adams.
