Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney got more great news Sunday when 4-star defensive end Elijah Daniel gave a verbal commitment to the Tigers.
Daniel was on campus visiting the Dabo Swinney Football camp when he decided he had found his home. The prize recruit made the trip from Avon, Indiana to Clemson and spent Saturday and Sunday morning on campus before telling coach Swinney he was ready to be All In with the Tigers.
The 6-3, 250 pound defensive end is the second top defensive end to commit to the Tigers this week, joining the nation’s top prospect Robert Nkemdiche.
Daniel becomes the ninth commitment for the Tiger’s 2013 class.
