Future 5-star 2014 linebacker Raekwon McMillan visited Clemson for the first time earlier this week.
“I came down with my coaches. The visit was real nice. We toured the education building and toured the facilities. I got to see the stadium,” said McMillan.
The prize recruit talked with a number of Clemson coaches during the visit.
“I talked with coach Scott, coach Venables, coach Swinney and coach Elliott. Coach Swinney gave me some advice on the process. He just told me to take it one day at a time and not to let it overwhelm me,” said McMillan.
The future All-American liked what he saw in Tigertown.
“I was more impressed than I thought. I didn’t know the facilities would be that nice and the coaches would be that cool,” said McMillan.
The summer visit tour continues for the rising junior.
“I went to Georgia two weeks ago. I am going to Ohio State Thursday to Saturday,” said McMillan.
When asked if he has any early favorites, McMillan told TheClemsonInsider.com, “I don’t really have any leaders. There are a couple of teams that stick out. Georgia, Ohio State and Clemson stick out right now”.
