4-star defensive end Elijah Daniel had a good game Friday night, but it wasn’t enough for a victory.
“It went alright but we lost. I did okay. I had six or seven tackles,” said Daniel.
The Clemson verbal commit is having an outstanding senior season.
“I have four to six sacks on the season,” said Daniel.
Elijah plans to get to Death Valley this fall, but he is not sure which game.
“I am going to get to a game. I don’t know which one yet. Then I will also go down for my official visit,” said Daniel.
Last weekend the prize recruit visited another school.
“I went to Marshall last weekend. It was pretty good. I got to spend some time with my brother,” said Daniel.
Was the visit to Marshall to check out the school or to visit with his brother?
“It was a little bit of both, but more to support my brother,” replied Daniel.
Another visit is in the works for Elijah.
“I will probably go to the Purdue game to watch my brother play up there,” said Daniel.
What is Elijah hearing from the Clemson staff?
“They just tell me to knock out my classwork and keep doing what I am doing. They tell me I will be good there this time next year,” said Daniel.
Saturday night the top defender will be watching the Tigers.
“They have a big one this week. I will be watching,” said Daniel.
How does Elijah think the Tigers will do against the Noles?
“I don’t really know. I think they will win because they will have Sammy,” replied Daniel.
