4-star running back Stanley Williams visited Death Valley Saturday along with good friend DeShaun Watson.
“I came to the spring game. It was real good. DeShaun wanted me to come down,” said Williams.
How did the prize recruit enjoy the visit?
“It was the best visit I took so far. I look forward to going back,” replied Williams.
Expect to see Stanley and DeShaun back on campus.
“We are definitely going back this summer. I am going during the season and will take one of my official visits to Clemson. I can’t wait,” said Williams.
The Clemson staff worked hard to convince Stanley that he is perfect for the Tiger’s offense.
“I talked with coach Elliott and coach Morris. Coach Elliott told me to keep working hard and everything will work itself out. He told me I can come in and get in the mix as long I work hard,” said Williams.
How does Stanley feel about the Clemson offense?
“I like their offense. They can put me in a lot of different positions and get me the ball in space. They can put me in the best position to make plays and be one of the best backs in the nation,” said Williams.
When asked about his current leaders, Williams responded, “I really don’t have any right now. I just decommitted from Georgia so I am going to take it slow”.
Stanley told TCI that the Tigers will be in it until the end.
“They will be. They are one of my top schools. I am looking forward to going back,” said Williams.
