Register joins the party, Commits to Tigers

The good news kept coming Thursday afternoon for the Clemson coaching staff.  Clemson picked up their second verbal commitment from a 4-star linebacker in the last two days when Chris Register called coach Swinney to give him the good news.

The Greensboro Dudley standout has long favored the Tigers.  Chris had an impressive offer list that included Florida, Florida State, Miami, North Carolina, NC State, Tennessee, Kentucky, Virginia and many more.

Chris hopes to graduate early and enroll at Clemson in January.

Last season Register had 89 tackles and 8.5 sacks.

Register becomes the tenth commitment for the Tiger’s 2014 class.
