With kickoff against Georgia less than two weeks away for focus this week in practice will shift to game preparations for the opener. Saturday’s scrimmage was the last chance for some of the freshmen to leave in impression with the coaching staff, good or bad.
This week many of the freshmen will learn if they are headed to the scout team and a redshirt of if they will be given a chance to contribute this fall. For some the decision will be delayed for a few weeks as the coaches struggle to make some tough decisions. Injuries can change the redshirt plans for some if injuries occur early in the season.
