Clemson verbal commit Kendall Joseph opens his senior year next weekend.

“We didn’t play in week 0.  We open with Laurens next week,” said Joseph.

Weather has impacted the preseason preparations for BPH this season.

“It is going good.  We had two of our jamborees cancelled so we only played two other teams.  In one of the jamborees we were going to play Greenwood.  They had gone to state a few years in a row so we needed that one,” said Joseph.

Saturday Kendall will make the short trip to Death Valley.

“Yes sir, I will be there.  I am looking forward to watching the defense.  I know Georgia has Gurley.  I think Clemson will prove the world wrong with their defense,” said Joseph.

The BHP standout has been keeping in touch with coach Venables.

“I just called him a couple of weeks ago.  He just told me to work hard and have a great season.  I know they are busy so I haven’t talked to him much,” said Joseph.

The prize recruit is building some bonds with some of the others in the 2014 class.

“I have talked with Chris Register a few times.  I talked with CJ about the game he had.  I have also talked with Korie Rogers a bit,” said Joseph.

Kendall has high expectations for his final season at BHP.

“I think we are going to be really good.  We have a lot of potential.  Our defense will do really well.  Our offense will have to find a way.  I feel like we can go undefeated if we beat Daniel,” said Joseph.
