4-star linebacker Ricky DeBerry and St. Christopher’s School came up just short this weekend.

“Our game went well, but we lost 20-33.  I did pretty good.  I had a decent amount of tackles and a couple of tackles for loss.  In the first  half our offense had four turnovers.  Without those we win the game,” said DeBerry.

This weekend the 6-2, 240 pound prospect didn’t make any visits, but saw plenty of football.

“I just stayed home and watched some games on TV.  I watched the Oregon game, Alabama and Texas A&M and some of the Nebraska game against UCLA,” said DeBerry.

How did the 4-star like the Oregon offense?

“It is ridiculous.  I don’t know how they can function like that,” replied DeBerry.

Which visits are in the works?

“I am going to the Georgia game against Tennessee.  I also plan to go see Penn State against Nebraska and Florida play Florida State,” said DeBerry.

Ricky visited Death Valley when Clemson downed Georgia.  Coach Venables is trying to get the prize recruit back on campus.

“They just want me to come down for another game.  Coach V tells me he wants me to play the hybrid position at Clemson,” said DeBerry.

When asked if he has any current favorites, DeBerry responded, “No sir, not right now”

“I will probably narrow it down after next spring,” said DeBerry.
